Iran and Turkey Hold the 1st Joint Committee of Science and Technology

The 1st joint committee of science and technology of the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and the Turkish Scientific and Technological Research Council (Tubitak), headed by the Prof. Salar Amoli, the acting minister for international scientific cooperation and Prof. Hassan Mandal President of Tubitak, took place at University of Tabriz.

In this meeting, various aspects of strengthening the existing cooperation between the two countries were discussed and University of Tabriz and Gebze Technical University were selected as the leading house universities, of Iran and Turkey.

Moreover, a statement on undertaking joint venture research projects, exchange of students and lecturers, short term sabbatical leave and joint supervision of PhD students, was prepared and signed by the two sides.
