Turkey Ambassador in Iran visited University of Tabriz

Turkey Ambassador in Iran, Prof. Dr. Derya Örs in his series visits from Iranian Universities visited University of Tabriz on 14^th April 2019. He stated that The Republic of Turkey is interested in expanding collaborations in all political, economic and cultural fields, especially in scientific and technological cooperation with Iranian Universities and scientific centers. He said that the science diplomacy is the best peaceful tool to bring the nations together.

The ways of developing scientific and academic cooperation between Iranian and Turkish were discussed during meeting of Prof  Derya Örs  with Prof. Dr. Majidi the University of Tabriz chancellor. In this meeting Prof. Majidi, introduced University of Tabriz and its capabilities and said that his University as the second oldest comprehensive  University of Iran and also leading house of Iran-Turkey scientific cooperation is exploring the possible opportunities for expanding the scientific cooperation between Iranian and Turkish Universities.

Furthermore, a group of members of the Working Group for International Cooperation Development in the Caucasus and Turkey region, expressed their attitudes for the development of academic cooperation between the two countries, including facilitating the exchange of academic staffs and students, using scientific resources, joint courses, conferences, joint research projects, the development of scientific and cultural diplomacy, implementing common historical and cultural values.
