Graduation of the first group of remote sensing doctoral students of the University of Tabriz and Salzburg, Austria

A faculty member of the GIS department University of Tabriz said: The first group of joint doctoral students in the field of remote sensing and GIS in the form of scientific and international cooperation with the University of Salzburg in Austria defended their doctoral theses and graduated on Monday, March 4th.
According to the University of Tabriz public relations report, Dr. Bakhtiar Faizizadeh, a member of the faculty of the GIS department and responsible for this course at University of Tabriz, while announcing this news, said: This program was started in 2018 based on a contract between the GIS Department University  of Tabriz and the Geoinformatics Department of the University of Salzburg, Austria.  during which several doctoral students were accepted.
He continued: These students studied in University of Tabriz for the first year and then went to University  of Salzburg in Austria to complete the course units and also to start the joint doctoral thesis.
The faculty member of the GIS Department University of Tabriz reminded: The guidance of these students' doctoral theses was done jointly between the GIS Department University of Tabriz and the professors of the Geoinformatics Department of the University of Salzburg.
