The urban nature program by the World Bank in the form of sustainable urban development as a part of the comprehensive ecosystem preservation program was one of the other topics raised by Dr. Rahimi.

He also continued: The horizontal development and expansion of cities has caused the destruction of ecological resources, including gardens, agricultural lands and other urban green infrastructures, and for this reason, in recent decades, the need to pay attention to the environment and sustainable urban development has led to the formation of new approaches to control of urban development and preservation of ecological resources.

The scientific secretary of the symposium pointed out: the approach of intelligent methods and solutions based on nature, as one of the dominant scientific paradigms for the optimal management of development, has caused a change in attitudes towards the city and the urban environment, and this symposium was held in line with this approach.

In the continuation of this conference, Dr. Vladmir Andrzejka and Dr. Milan Husar from the Technical University of Slovakia presented explanations about Slovakia's experiences in relation to the issue of urban nature and urban green infrastructure.
