CALL FOR INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH PROPOSALS: TABRIZU-300 PROGRAM

Due to the importance of expanding international & scientific collaboration alongside the necessity of having scientific share, contribution and active role in the growth of science, research & technology in regional and international arenas, the research vice chancellery of University of Tabriz in line with its international policy making and based on the minutes of 29th chancellery board meeting, enacted & ratified on 19th October 2020 and in order to make maximum use of scientific competency and potentials of its elite faculty staff members, intends:

To implement a program of joint international research projects between researchers and faculty members of the University of Tabriz with researchers from the top 300 universities in the world (based on the Leiden ranking system in 2020).

In this program, entitled “TabrizU-300”, faculty members of the our university will be able to present their joint research project in agreement with a full-time foreign colleague from one of the world’s top 300 universities in four major science topic categories . Afterwards, these projects will be evaluated and from every major categories, 5 projects and in total 20 selected projects will be introduced for concluding a contract and consequently financial support. The Leiden ranking system has been cited for its high transparency based on four WOS-based criteria for ranking the world’s universities.

Respected faculty members of these 4 major categories should carefully study the instructions for the implementation in the framework of this program and download and complete the project application form, and proceed through the following links.

After completing the necessary steps, and submitting the application form, the respective documents should be sent to the email address of  intprograms@tabrizu.ac.ir .

The deadline for submissions is 31^st December 2020.
