The Learning Management System (LMS) of University of Tabriz was launched

The Vice Chancellor for Education and Postgraduate Studies of University of Tabriz, while referring to some of proceedings and arrangements of  University of Tabriz in the field of virtual education, added that, due to the closure of universities to prevent the outbreak of Corona virus and according to circulars and emphasis of Ministry of Science, Research and Technology’s officials and President of University of Tabriz, the virtual education system (LMS) of University of Tabriz was launched, regarding many efforts which were made.

Prof.  Hayati, by announcing some features of this system, added that, in this system, it is possible to hold 30 virtual classes simultaneously with a capacity of 1000 students and in this regard, the necessary instructions on working and interacting with the LMS system are thoroughly and visually available for professors and students on the website of the university's Free and Virtual Education Department, at http://vu.tabrizu.ac.ir.

The Vice Chancellor for Education and Postgraduate Studies of University of Tabriz, while pointing to the provided necessary trainings on the procedure of working and dealing with the system to IT experts of faculties, added that, if professors and students encounter with problems while using the system, they can contact IT experts of their faculties or express their problems by the following e-mail vut@tabrizu.ac.ir. He also asked academic staffs and students to follow updates provided to show how e-learning proceeds and if new knowledge is needed.
