Hosted by University of Tabriz; EURAS International Academy will be held in Tabriz

Director of Scientific and International Cooperation of University of Tabriz announced the hosting of the second EURAS International Academy by University of Tabriz with presence of the President of Eurasian Universities Union.

According to Public Relations Department of University of Tabriz, Dr. Saeid Shojaei stated: Considering the importance of internationalization of academic activities as well as coordination with the Eurasian Universities Union, the second EURAS International Academy will be held on 16th of October on Wednesday this year at University of Tabriz with presence of the Union's President.

The faculty member of University of Tabriz by emphasizing that in the workshop effective methods of internationalization for academic activities will be taught by the professors of Eurasian Universities Union as well as Iranian professors, declared: This workshop will be for directors and staff of international academic cooperation directorate of Iranian universities as well as faculty members and interested directors of universities in the northwest region of the country.

In another part of his speech, Director of Scientific and International Cooperation of University of Tabriz, by stating that the second EURAS International Academy will be held at University of Tabriz in one day, added: methods of skills improvement, knowledge improvement, expanding view of the field of international higher education, how to make internationalization strategies more effective, procedures and common trends in internationalization and international higher education, and more others will be among the topics which will be discussed in this workshop.

Eventually, Director of Scientific and International Cooperation of University of Tabriz, by stating that the first academy was hosted two years ago by Amirkabir University of Technology, mentioned that: Currently, more than 60 universities in Europe and Asia are members of the Eurasian Universities Union and University of Tabriz is one of them.
